• Caregiver Alarms offer an efficient method of monitoring if a patient is getting up from a bed. This package includes a Bed Alarm and Weight Sensing Bed Pad with 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Please be aware that some packages are offered with short term pads (45 day warranty) which accounts for the difference in pricing! We recommend that long term pads always be purchased for the home care market!
• Weight Sensing Pad goes under the fitted sheet beneath the patient's back or hip area. Alert will sound when the patient sits up to get up from bed.
• Complete package includes: 1 exit alarm and 1 weight sensing bed pad
• Requires a 9 volt battery (not included)

This low cost, interchangeable bed & chair exit alarm package alerts a caregiver when a resident is about to get up from a bed or chair unassisted so the caregiver may provide assistance. Place the bed sensor pad across the width of the bed, under the fitted sheet. Position the pad under the shoulder blades for an alert when the resident sits up or position the pad under the hips for an alert when the resident is lifting out of the bed. Place the chair sensor pad on the seat of a chair. Alarm will sound as the resident attempts to get up from the weight sensing bed or chair pad. To silence the alarm, press the rest button on the front of the alarm or reapply weight to the sensor pad.
